Jillian Nellie Hennely was born on the 25th of November 1968. She is a renowned Canadian actor and singer who has made an important contribution to American television. Her fame is due to her impressive performances on the American television series Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Her acting talents were on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent film, she exercised co-directing skills and her writing abilities. Hennessy began her acting career along with her twin sister as twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in the year 1990. It was 1993 when Hennessy left the realm of musicals to enter the science-fiction genre, playing Doctor. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she was a part of in the ensemble cast of the NBC sensational crime drama Law & Order in the role as assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. In this role she was awe-inspiring to viewers for a period of three seasons until the year 1996. Parker has been in many films and shows, including RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. In these roles, she won a Golden Globe Award in 2006 as well as an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker was also awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 for her performance in the Broadway show Proof.
