Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season she won over more than 90 international championships while professional golfer, which makes she the golfer who has many wins to her name. It was 2008 when she decided to retire from the sport of golf. In recognition of her 90+ international wins, she is considered the most successful female golfer in history. Annika was a winner of 72 LPGA tournaments as well as 10 major tournaments and another 18 across the globe. Annika celebrated her fiftieth birthday in 2020. She was born the 9th of October, 1970. Tom as well as Gunilla are her parents. Tom was an IBM executive while her mother worked at an institution. Her sister is both an instructor and professional golfer at Annika's Academy. They were both the first sisters to make million dollars playing on the LPGA. Mike McGee married her and they have two daughters named Madelyn McGee and Madelyn. She placed in the top 3 and took home the LPGA Rookie of the Year prize. Annika was the first non-American winner of the Vare Trophy. She won at the US Women Open in 1995. Annika was the sole non-American to secure the Vare trophy. Annika was also ranked as number one on the Money list. She chose not to compete in the 2008 season. The first pitch was pitched by her later that night. In the Suzhou Taihu Lady's Open playoff was his most recent victory.
